Laurie Duchaine
Alma Guerra has been a member of the Farese Family Dental team for two years. She is originally from San Antonio, Texas, but now calls Oxford, MS her home. Alma's education was focused in San Antonio on becoming a certified Dental Assistant. She has over 20 years of experience in the dental field and is happy helping others. Alma is the proud mother of two children, Amanda and Armando. She is fluent is Spanish and teaches basic Spanish to the children at Burns United Methodist Church on Sundays. Alma looks forward to many more years at Farese Family Dental.
Karen Meeks is a registered dental hygienist with over 15 years experience. She attained her dental hygiene degree from Northeast Mississippi Community College in 1995. Kaern has worked with Dr. Jason Farese since 2003 when they were employed in dental public health in Ashland, MS. She then continued to work there with Dr. Lea Farese until 200 when she joined the doctors in their practice in Oxford. Karen enjoys providing the best care possible to her patients in a relaxing atmosphere. Karen resides in Ripley, MS along with her husband and four year old daughter. She enjoys boating, gardening, and spending time with her family.
Bernadette Mistilis is a National Board Certified Dental Assistant. She graduated from Normandy Sr. High School in 1973 with a major in Dental Assisting. In 1978 Bernadette graduated in dental assisting from the University of North Carolina School of Dentistry and succesfully completed the National Dental Assistants Board Examination. Bernadette believes strongly in staying informed of advancements in the field of dentistry and regularly attends continuing education seminars. She has over 30 years of experience as a certified dental assistant. Bernadette enjoys learning and works hard to maintain a high level of dental knowledge. She provides excellent care to all her patients and is committed to assisting the dentist in the most proficient and professional manner. Bernadette believes a healthy smile is the universal language that says it all! She is married to Ben Mistilis and they reside in Oxford. Bernadette has two grown children, Sarah Neimeyer and Jeffery Neimeyer. Sarah is a Texam A & M graduate and a high school counselor in Houston, Texas. Jeffery is a 2006 graduate of Ole Miss. He, along with his wife, Jenn, are students at the Southern Baptist Seminary in Louisville, KY.
Lauren Prevallet has been in the dental profession for 7 years. She has worked as a dental assistant for 7 years beginning while still in high school. She attained her dental hygiene degree from Northeast Mississippi Community College in May 2009. There she was awarded the Mississippi Dental Association Achievement Award. Lauren is currently working in patient treatment coordination while studying to attain her RDH. She resides in Pope, MS.
